The Challenge:

A global construction engineering organization with over 10,000 employees was experiencing exponential growth and preparing to enter international markets. However, the client faced challenges in scaling their hiring processes and lacked the technology capabilities needed to provide a seamless candidate experience.

The Approach

Design and develop a talent acquisition business case and assist the CHRO to reimagine the talent acquisition function.

Discovery Assessment

  • Conducted talent acquisition assessment: experience, processes, structure, technology and data.
  • Gathered quantitative and qualitive candidate data including interviewing employees and managers.
  • Developed heatmap to visualize gaps and needs.

Future State

  • Facilitated workshops to define talent acquisition vision, candidate experience journey and capabilities needed.
  • Proposed new talent acquisition technology stack.

Business Case

  • Hiring and onboarding data analysis for business case.
  • Collected and analyzed headcount, technology, real state and other hiring-related data.
  • Workshop to co-create “book-end” scenarios and develop assumptions.
  • Created 3-year business case and presented recommendations.
The Results
  • Talent acquisition technology integration generated $1M in cost savings.
  • New shared service center will generate between $2-$3M in cost savings.
