Enterprise New Skilling Strategy

The Challenge:

A global passenger airline organization is redesigning its business strategy, leveraging data, AI, and analytics to enhance customer experience. However, they face challenges in skill development.
With a workforce of over 70,000 employees, they need a comprehensive view of the existing skills and a clear path forward for upskilling their employees to meet the demands of their new strategy.

The Approach
Design an enterprise-wide AI & Data skilling strategy and enablement program. 20 weeks strategy project.

Current State Assessment

    • Assessed current state in terms of skills, talent, and roles to identify gaps and needs.
    • Defined and developed role cards for each persona.
    • Aligned on skills levels, type and proficiencies for each persona.

Design Future State

    • Developed learning journeys and learning pathways.
    • Validated core and specialized skills.
    • Assessed learning platforms and proposed options. 

Developed new skilling roadmap and implementation plan.

The Results
  • Four (4) curriculums were designed and implemented including 11 core skills and 300 specialized skills
  • Client started its skilling journey after 8 months training more than 10K employees.
