Paycor Acquires 7Geese to Enhance HCM Capabilities

7geese is an industry leader in goal setting and performance management. It also offers OKR goal-setting, agile performance reviews, continuous feedback, and career development features.

According to the press release, “7Geese’s platform will be fully integrated into Paycor’s product portfolio, enabling customers to further focus on what matters most to their businesses – their employees.” This is the second acquisition in the last two years. In May 2019, Paycor acquired Ximble to provide customers a broad Human Capital Management offering with enhanced scheduling capabilities.

In general, this is a very interesting acquisition. In the last two years I have seen acquisitions in the recruiting space to the talent development or the other way around since clients are looking for AI-driven solutions that can help them to enhance employee experience and be able to match people to opportunities.
